Secret Sludge-Bac 1000ml
The Secret products help you get and keep your pond healthy. These products have been carefully formulated by our specialists based on our experience and customer wishes. Secret products are mainly intended to support your filter system or ecosystem during difficult times, such as in spring when the sun is frequently present but the water temperature remains low.
Pollution in the pond is the number one problem in ponds; the consequences are often reduced water quality and algae formation. You can prevent or improve this by removing the pollution. This is best done with a pond skimmer net or a pond vacuum cleaner for larger ponds. Once most of the pollution has been removed, you can better control it in the future with Sludge-bac. Sludge-bac from Secret is a maintenance product that you add monthly. This accelerates the breakdown of new pollution to better maintain your water values.
How to use Secret Sludge-Bac
Removes algae and sludge in a biological and natural way. A large accumulation of sludge means that insufficient biological processes are at work to keep the water clean.
Sludge can accumulate at the bottom of your pond and in the filter. It is also a breeding ground for pathogenic bacteria, which in turn causes problems for your fish.
Dosage:
For a new pond, 100ml. per 1000 liters of water; for pond maintenance, 50ml. per 1000 liters of water per month. Mix the indicated dosage with 3 liters of pond water in a watering can and distribute evenly over your pond. For best results, repeat this dosage monthly.
The pond must meet the following values:
- KH-Value: 6 -10
- Ammonia: <0.15 mg/l (NH3)
- PH-Value: 7-8
- Nitrite: <0.15 mg/l (N02)
- GH-Value: 8-12
- Oxygen: <60-100% (02)
